I really am thrilled to be able to say that my flower filled dreams are now becoming a reality.
My flower addiction started from a very young age and is definitely something that's in my genes. Both my Mum and Grandma were very keen flower gardeners. I grew up in the Sussex Countryside on the Ashdown Forest where natural floral inspiration was abound!
I was given my own flower patch to tend to at the age of ten and my horticultural interest blossomed from there.
My parents were furniture shop owners and as a teenager I worked in the shop. My interest in floristry begun when I started to dress the tables with the flowers I had grown in my parents garden.
Later in life I worked as a landscape gardener, tending to gardens in the Surrey Hills and then as a retail plant area manager within a garden centre.
Alongside my horticultural work I also trained as a florist, taking on freelance wedding work whenever I could fit it in.
More recently undertaking my floral training at the world renowned Judith Blacklock Flower School based in Knightsbridge.
Owning my own home grown flower business has been something I have been working towards for a very long time. I'm thrilled to now have the opportunity to finally pursue my flowery dreams.
You can follow my flowery trials and tribulations and general flowery musings on my blog below.
